KeepAm uses OTP (One-Time Password) as our primary security method.

How Our Security Works

Every time you log in:

Enter your phone number

Receive 6-digit OTP via SMS

Enter OTP to access account

This IS two-factor authentication:

Factor 1: Your phone number (something you know)

Factor 2: OTP to your device (something you have)

Why OTP Instead of Passwords?

Benefits:

No password to forget or hack

Fresh code every login

Harder to breach remotely

Simple user experience

Security:

Codes expire in 10 minutes

Maximum 3 attempts per code

New code invalidates old ones

Rate limiting prevents spam

OTP Best Practices

Never share your OTP - We'll never ask for it

Don't save OTP messages - Let them expire

Verify sender - Should be from KeepAm only

Report suspicious requests - Contact us if concerned

We'll investigate the login history

Your number can be changed if needed

Consider changing associated email
