Deleting your account

We're sorry to see you go. Here's how to delete your account.

Before You Delete

This action is permanent. Deleting your account will:

Remove all your income/expense entries

Delete all tax calculations

Cancel any active subscription

Remove your profile completely

Cannot be undone

Consider Instead

Pause subscription - Keep data, stop paying

Downgrade to Free - Limited access, data preserved

Export data first - Download your records

How to Delete

Go to Profile → Settings

Scroll to bottom

Tap "Delete Account"

Read the warnings

Enter your phone number to confirm

Tap "Permanently Delete"

What Happens After

Immediately: Logged out, can't log back in

Within 24 hours: Data deletion begins

Within 30 days: All data permanently erased

Subscription: Cancelled, no further charges

Refunds After Deletion

No refunds for current billing period

Annual subscribers: Contact support BEFORE deleting for possible pro-rata refund

Exporting Your Data First

Before deleting, export your records:

Go to Reports → Export Data

Choose format (CSV, PDF)

Download to your device

Re-joining After Deletion

If you delete and want to return:

Create a new account with your phone number

Previous data cannot be recovered

Start fresh with Free plan

Having Issues?

If you can't delete your account:

Update to latest app version

Clear app cache

Contact support for manual deletion
