    Annual Filing Deadline

    March 31, 2026

    This is the deadline for:

  1. Filing your annual tax return
  2. Paying any outstanding tax from 2025
  3. Self-employed individuals
  4. Freelancers
  5. Business owners
  6. Content creators
  7. Monthly VAT Returns

    21st of each month

    If you're registered for VAT:

  8. Due 21 days after month-end
  9. Report VAT collected and paid
  10. Remit net VAT to FIRS
  11. PAYE (For Employers)

    10th of each month

    Employers must:

  12. Remit employee taxes by the 10th
  13. This is your employer's responsibility
  14. Quarterly Estimates

    If you make quarterly payments:

  15. Q1: April 15
  16. Q2: July 15
  17. Q3: October 15
  18. Q4: January 15 (of next year)
